About the House

This delightful modern chalet-style house enjoys breathtaking panoramic views of the Burgundy hills. Steeped in history and character, the tranquil setting of this medieval village is the perfect base from which to explore this idyllic region. Walking, cycling, bird-watching, sightseeing, wine tours or playing boules on our own court are just some of the ways to spend your time locally, or if you fancy going further afield, Paris and Dijon are a mere hour away by TGV. Restaurants catering for all tastes and shops are plentiful in nearby towns as well as weekly markets in Montbard.
The house sleeps up to 6 people comfortably in three twin bedded rooms; one has an en-suite shower and toilet. There is a large sitting/dining room which leads onto the east terrace with views over the valley. The kitchen is modern, fully fitted with a dishwasher, microwave, built-in oven and hob, coffee maker etc. There is also an eating area. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, the toilet is separate. There is a large terrace with a built in barbecue and garden furniture; there is also garden furniture for the east terrace, and a stone table and benches in the garden. All linen and towels supplied. Electricity, gas and water included - no hidden charges. Whatever you’re looking for out of a holiday, whether it’s culture, history, sport or just a peaceful place to unwind, Burgundy has it all.
